Japanese raw fish

These are fresh slices of raw bonito.
I ate them in Kochi-ken.

These are deep-fried bonito coating by dried bonito shavings.

They are called "tosa-ryouri" in Japanese.
The bonito is special product of this district.

Dear Hiro,

What is Bonito? Look like some kind of meat (or beef)? Taste like meat? The deep fried Bonito look very different from the raw one.

I always amazes by the Japanese food, it always look so colourful and with so much work put in it, I am sure you enjoy it very much.

Understand you mentioned that Japan is now hot and humid. I believe very soon you will report cold weather with leaf changing colour when autumn.

Today I introduce one Singaporean food to you: Roti-Prata, Please go to my blog to see the picture.

Thank you.

Dear Hiro,
I am so sorry, I found out that Bonito is fish, and also found out from the title of your blog, so please ignore my question about Bonito.
